Triplets born three years apart

A couple who believed they would not be able to have children have welcomed triplets born three years apart, thanks to IVF. Denise and Glen Higgs from Devon are celebrating the birth of their twins Carter and Carson, following the birth of older sister Mazy three years ago. Incredibly, all three were born from the same frozen embryos.

The couple underwent IVF treatment after Glen was made infertile due to cancer treatment. Doctors used his frozen sperm to create eight embryos which have now given them triplets- born three years apart.

Glen’s sperm had been frozen since testicular cancer treatment left him unable to conceive at the age of 20. The couple first embarked upon IVF in 2011, and again three years later. The twins were born last week, completing the family.

A true MAMA miracle! We wish the little family all the best for the future.
