We are half way through the year of 2018 and BabyCentre have revealed the most popular names so far for the UK. Naming your baby is such a huge decision, so maybe this list will help you. Do you like the names listed here, or do you prefer to go your own way?
Most notably from the results:
For the girls, Layla has jumped a whole 14 places in the name charts and Harper has risen 10 places (originally gaining popularity in 2011 with the Beckhams). Maya is a new entry to the top 20 and Olivia has been on the top spot for 3 years running.
For the boys, Theo and Arthur are new to the top 20 this year and Jacob is for the first time since 2011 out of the top 10. Alfie and Freddie have jumped 7 places and Muhammed is in the top spot for the second year in a row.
