£3 million of project funding available

Published on: 13/05/2015

The Health Foundation has launched a new funding project, “Scaling up Improvement”, which has £3 million of funding available for up to seven healthcare projects that have already demonstrated they improve care.  Proposed improvement projects need to demonstrate how they intend to make an impact on an identified problem.  Interventions will need to have been already tested in the same setting, been shown to improve care and be ready to be implemented at a larger scale.  Applications have been encouraged from any health or health and social care provider organisation in the UK where services are free at the point of delivery and so could be accepted from midwives and maternity teams.  Applications for funding closes at 12 noon on 2 June 2015, but it may close earlier if the programme is oversubscribed.
