Sir Terry Wogan's Heartbreak

The late Sir Terry Wogan spoke out before his death of the heartbreak he suffered after the death of his daughter aged just three weeks.

Sir Wogan’s daughter, Vanessa, died of a heart condition and sadly never left the hospital after she was born. It was a condition that could have been treated had she been born today. In an interview years later, Wogan admitted that it was a ‘terrible’ time for he and his wife, Lady Helen. The couple later went on to have one more daughter and two sons.

Sir Terry Wogan sadly passed away aged 77 on the 31st January 2016.
